I'm a graduate of School of Creative Media in City University of Hong Kong. I've always been enthusiastic about making anything, no matter it's a song, poster or a computer game. I endorse originality and customizability, new ideas and fresh concepts.
Everything I do is something that I like, so I would always have the motivation to continue and pursue the completion of projects. I am also eager to find out solutions for an issue, no matter it's a technical problem or just a workaround for things.
I've always been interested in making graphics, no matter if it's a mockup or a book, or just to add something into a picture and make it look realistic. It is always a fun and enjoyable thing for me to do. I've also took a few internships in the graphic design industry which gave me a good insight on how this industry operates.
I love making music, I'm very grateful that I was exposed to music making since I was younger. I also like singing and playing guitar, which adds to the fun when I can play something entirely new from scratch and make a recording of it. I've been composing, mixing and arranging for about 10 years now. I also have experience making music for ads and shorts as well.
Sound design is intriguing to me. How sound effect adds to the picture is incredible, no matter it is used to suggest an action, motivate the story on screen or just to create an atmosphere. Without sound, the story in a movie can be very different or less motivated and convicing. I've done a few sound effect projects for ads and animations in these few years.
Coding is not easy but that's the beauty of it. We all know the frustration when you missed that semi-colon or crashed your entire programme because you referenced an object that doesn't exist. But after all that, what you can achieve is incredible, a script, a full-fledged fun game or a full-blown software. The sense of accomplishment is the best when I finished a programming project thus why I keep doing it (of course also I've gotta submit my assignments :P). I've programming experience for about 7 years.
Photography is a rather new thing that I've touched on. Thanks to the opportunity for going on exchange in Australia, I've gotten a chance to take my camera all around the country and take some photos. I've also taken photography courses in my university there which gave me a great insight on photography. I've been practicing taking photos of objects, architectures, animals, sceneries and human portraits for about 3 years now, hope you like my works. :)
I've recently touched on 3D productions such as modeling and animating. Although my experience on this is not very long, I am definitely interested in learning more about it and doing it more.
Comparing to programming and music, I don't have as much experience in regard of video editing and animation. But I do have some technical skills and knowledge on those regardless.
I'm fairly confident with using all Microsoft Office suite as well as Apple's iWork productivity suite. I've had experience with most of the software throughout my school and work.
I've had experience with various equipment and devices throughout my studies and work, here're what I can do and utilise proficiently.
